Nate started his accounting career with the Department of Defense, where he spent 13 years in various auditing and management positions. This included over a decade of experience auditing defense contractors. Nate’s auditing tenure gave him exposure to companies of all sizes and direct experience working with a variety of different accounting systems. In 2012, Nate passed the CPA exam and became a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Nate joined the ENGAGE team in 2020 and brought with him a passion for helping others succeed and overcome challenges. He prides himself on being approachable, patient and understanding. In his role as Accounting Lead, he works closely with clients and advises on a variety of accounting and tax matters. Nate and his wife Andrea live in Havertown, PA with their two children, Maria and Jonah. Together they run Mercy Kids Africa, a charitable organization that supports an orphanage in Chingola, Zambia. Nate has served as Treasurer and Member of the Board since 2015. In his free time, Nate really enjoys traveling and has spent time in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America. He’s also an avid sports fan, an aviation enthusiast and loves talking about personal finance.
